We appreciate our community

Community Partners

Cheers to Our Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

At its best, St. Matthews Area Ministries is neighbors helping neighbors.  That’s why, new in 2026, we have developed the St. MAM Community Partnership Program – adding neighboring commercial businesses and a youth recreational organization to our existing network of municipal, religious, and nonprofit supporters.

We are equally excited and grateful to be able to announce our four inaugural partners:  Independence Bank, Ken Combs Running Store, St. Matthews Baseball, and Tin Roof St. Matthews.

Our partnership with each entity will be somewhat unique, with some partners hosting benefit events and others sponsoring St. MAM marquee fundraisers, but all of these local community champions will be teaming up to:

1. Collect physical donations for St. MAM throughout the year. (Can’t make it to the pantry? Just drop your goods at any of these locations any time they are open),

2. Encourage their clientele to make financial donations to support our essential operations, and

3. Help spread important St. MAM news and attest to how important our work is to our community.

Thank you to the leadership of each of these Community Partners who have stepped up to help ensure that St. MAM will continue well into the future it’s now 54-year mission of helping our neighbors in need.  Please show them your support and learn more about their businesses by going to each entity’s dedicated page on our site.

If your business or organization would be interested in becoming a Community Partner in the future, please reach out to Development Director Nicki Murphy at nickimurphy@stmam.com.
